Sean, Darrell, Jim and I went to Hobby Park since Jim had never been.

Jim in a rock section

Sean in a V tree

Darrell in the slalom section at the end of the trail

Me coming through one of the rock sections

Savannah and I took my Mom and Dad to the New River Trail...it is just fun easy riding up there.

Savannah enjoyed the New River trail so much we went back the next weekend and took, Darrell, Tim, Windy, Zachary and Tyler.

use your lights in those tunnels!!!!

after the ride we soaked it up in the river and had this guy waiting on me when we got home

those are just some of the ride highlights lately, I was fortunate enough to ride 5 times last week and the summer has been a great one for riding in general.

We also have online registration up for the Cackalacky Cup here

Friday the 7th of August is the local downtown crit in Statesville as part of the Crossroads Cycling Classic so if you come out to watch(which you should!!) come by the shop, say hey and get a free icee pop while we still have them

not a whole lot to update on the FFB front. The shop is busy and we are riding at least three times a week and squeezing as many more as we can all the time. Come by and say hey and definitely come by and ride. I have been trying out a few new items on my mountain bike which I hope to go into more detail soon so we will yell back to you then.

Riding is a good thing

Just some pics from Tuesdays ride
Jim and crew

Darrell telling us where the gun show was

Some of the carnage from me not remembering to keep my pedal up in a turn

Today, Darrell and I were going to go down to the White Water Center but due to bad looking clouds on the drive down we detoured to Fisher Farm in Davidson for a few laps.

There are some neat things out there like this in a dip.

and some cool ladder bridges that are fun and very rideable for anyone

Me on the same one
