Shop happenings

I really hope to update this almost everyday just to keep up with things going on at FFB but have been lazy lately so I will do a quick recap of a couple things

Nice weather always brings in the repairs, this is one bike that I have always liked when it comes in. Its a Novara mountain bike with drops bars which pretty popular for many years and is seeing a come back with On-Ones Midge and WTBs dirt drops. The Novara was designed by Scot Nicol of Ibis fame which is nice and has XC II pedals which always bring good money in the vintage game.

Jeff spent the day up at Cane Creek and brought back some goodies, we will no longer need to search the bins for water bottle cage bolts

Cane Creek always comes up with something for us for our Cackalacky Cup so they sent home some disc wheels with Jeff

and of course they had to send us a ton of rims

Rick came in today and I think he took something Fat Chance oriented but with Rick that means that he dropped off something Fat Chance oriented. We are going to take his Ti Fat that we made a SS and gear it up and make his Yo Eddy that we just got back from Russ @ Air Art to make it his SS. Rick lets us have fun and pretty much build his bikes reasonable but how we would if they were ours.

We are always trying to make the website better and have put Jonathan in charge of cleaning the vintage MTB's that do not have nice pages and taking them out to get good pictures of them. We are taking this opportunity to make sure the bikes have correct parts on them and when bringing over the Potts CCR we looked at the Willets stem and knew we need something. Alas we cannot find something cool for the 1" threadless type II....ANYONE?

The talk around the shop is if Jeff is going to get us all GO phones but he keeps telling us that we should "let hime sleep on it";)

and for our buddy Mike at Black Mountain who likes pictures of spiders I took this one, my Macro skill just weren't with me today though.
